This Old House TV uses ZipWall Dust Barrier System in Newton, MA home renovation “The crew of This Old House is doing a major renovation at our place, a 1915 Dutch Colonial. There’s a new mess every day—debris from demolition, plenty of sawdust, chunks of gypsum from the blueboard, damp waves of dust from the plasterers. Maybe we should have moved out! But instead of paying for months in a rental, we wanted to stay in the house with our two young children and dog. And we’re doing fine -- in part because of the ZipWalls that Tom and his builders set up between the old and new sections. We’re grateful for the dust barrier and for the ZipWalls’ flexibility. In the evening, after the dust clears on the far side, we sometimes move the quick-release supports and get a glimpse of how the house will work when everything’s done. Then it’s easy to move the wall back in place, so that in the morning, before we’re awake, the crew can start in without covering us in dust.”Bill
