Repairs and Replacements
Maintenance: Cleaning the SLP pole when it will not twist-lock into position
It is likely that the pole is either wet or dusty inside. Dampness and dust will cause the cam lock to slip. This is easy to fix. Simply disassemble the pole, clean and or dry all of the cam locks and plastic sleeves. Partially reassemble the pole and test the locking mechanism. If the pole does not function properly, re-clean the components again and reassemble. Once the cam locks operate properly, reassemble the entire pole. Down load cleaning instructions; see video on SLP cleaning.

Repairs: Replacing the threaded end on the P12 and P20 poles
Start by using a hack saw to cut the pole behind the threaded end, just below the dimple. Cut around the entire surface. Remove the old threaded end and file or sand the burrs from the newly cut edge of the pole. Insert the replacement threaded end and secure it by creating new dimples with a nail-set or punch about ½ inch below the collar of the new threaded end. To see video, click here.

Replacing the head, plate, and tether

Replacing the Jack
